By using our website, scheduling service, or approving any estimate or invoice, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Services: By scheduling service, approving an estimate, or allowing work to be performed, you agree to be bound by these Terms. This applies to all repairs, maintenance, installations, diagnostics, and inspections performed by Chill Squad Air Conditioning.
2. Services Provided: We provide HVAC services including, but not limited to:
- Air conditioning repair
- Maintenance and tune-ups
- System installation and replacement
- Diagnostics and inspections
- Emergency services
- Service availability may vary by location, conditions, and scheduling.
3. Scope of Work: Work performed is limited strictly to the services listed on your estimate or invoice. We are not responsible for issues outside the defined scope of work, whether known or unknown at the time of service.
4. Appointments and Scheduling: Appointments may be scheduled online, by phone, or via SMS. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments due to weather, safety concerns, or equipment availability.
5. Pricing and Payment: Pricing is subject to change until confirmed
- Final pricing will be provided before work begins
- Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed
- We may charge the payment method on file upon completion
- Accepted payment methods include major credit cards and other approved options
6. Cancellations and No-Shows: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments may result in a service fee.
7. Customer Responsibilities: You agree to:
- Provide safe and clear access to work areas
- Secure pets and ensure a safe environment
- Maintain your HVAC system through routine care
- We are not responsible for issues caused by lack of maintenance, including dirty filters, clogged drains, or neglected servicing.
8. Pre-Existing Conditions: We are not responsible for pre-existing issues, including but not limited to:
- Improper prior installation
- Code violations or outdated systems
- Existing leaks, corrosion, or damage
- Structural defects
- Hidden or inaccessible issues
9. Water Damage & Drainage Disclaimer: HVAC systems produce condensation and require proper drainage. Chill Squad is not responsible for:
- Water damage (ceilings, drywall, etc.)
- Drain line clogs or restrictions
- Float switch failures
- Improper drain installations by others
- Biological buildup (algae, slime, bacteria)
- Secondary drain pan failures
10. Electrical Disclaimer: We are not liable for electrical-related issues, including:
- Breaker or panel failures
- Hidden or deteriorated wiring
- Voltage fluctuations or power surges
- Lightning or utility-related issues
11. Refrigerant & Mechanical System Disclaimer: We are not responsible for system failures caused by:
- Age, corrosion, or manufacturer defects
- Coil deterioration
- Undetectable refrigerant leaks
- Compressor or TXV failures
- Refrigerant is not guaranteed and may require additional charges.
12. Equipment & Installation Disclaimer: We are not responsible for issues caused by:
- Improper installation by third parties
- Manufacturer defects
- Ductwork deficiencies
- Airflow or insulation issues
- Structural or design limitations of the property
13. Indoor Air Quality & UV Devices: We are not responsible for maintenance, replacement, or performance of:
- UV lights or bulbs
- Air purification systems installed by others
- Routine maintenance of these systems is the customer’s responsibility.
14. Animals, Property, and Work Conditions: We are not liable for:
- Damage caused by pets or animals
- Unsafe or restricted working conditions
- Health hazards (mold, pests, extreme heat, etc.)
15. Concealed Areas & Access Limitations: We are not responsible for conditions or damages within concealed or inaccessible areas, including walls, ceilings, or attics.
16. Warranties: Manufacturer warranties apply where available. Labor warranties apply only to work performed by Chill SquadWarranty is void if:
- Work is performed by another company
- System is altered or tampered with
- Maintenance is not properly performed
- External/environmental factors cause failure
17. Website Use: You agree not to misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its functionality or security. Content is provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate or current.
18. Intellectual Property: All website content, including text, images, and logos, is owned by Chill Squad and may not be used without written permission.
